What is the currency of Germany?
Due to Germany's membership in the Eurozone, the official currency is the euro (EUR). Germany switched to euro money back in 2002, before that time the country used its own national currency (the predecessor of the euro) - the German mark. In the country, all settlement operations are handled in euros at the moment, and the brand has been completely withdrawn from circulation.
