What is investment activity?
A process of investing free cash, such as purchasing shares, bonds, and other assets, with the hope that their value will increase. In theory, there should be a significant growth in capital. However, everyone knows that the purpose of investment activities is to maximize the return. It is not the investor who just invests anywhere, but the one who gets good results, i.e. good profits.
A company's investments are the assets it invests in to help generate profit. While these assets can be physical or intangible, like intellectual property, the end goals of investments are always the same: capital and revenue growth.
The economic activity of investing is for the purpose of producing capital gains. The goal of investment activity is to produce a positive outcome, while limiting losses. The goal of investing is to generate an outcome that exceeds the cost of input over time. Investors use stocks, bonds, and other securities to create portfolios in order to invest.
Investment activity is the process where investors invest so as to produce capital gains over a period of time. Obviously the investor will not be able to be sure about the future of the investment and he will try to increase the potential for profit and reduce the potential losses as much as possible. Investment activities includes various types of investments including stocks, bonds and various forms of securities.
