Trading on Friday
Some traders believe that Friday trading is very dangerous for the week end of the market. Although, with the very rapid changes in the prices at the end of the market, I think that this may be enjoyable to trade. It might get us a little more points.
I do not really think that it makes a big difference as long as one tries to be as careful as with any other day, and analyse all factors well before making decisions. At the end of the day it also depends on the trader's strategy.
I often find trading on Friday to be both exciting and challenging because the market tends to behave differently compared to the rest of the week. I usually notice that liquidity starts to drop as institutional traders close their positions before the weekend, which can lead to unexpected volatility. I try to be more cautious and avoid overtrading during this time. I also prefer to take quick profits instead of holding trades for long periods because weekend gaps can impact positions negatively. Sometimes Friday offers good opportunities when major news is released, but I always manage risk carefully. I focus on clear setups and avoid emotional decisions. I have learned that patience and discipline are more important on Fridays than chasing every movement in the market. I stay prepared and protect my capital always first.
