How old do you have to be to start trading?
To open an account in their own name, most brokerages require traders to be at least 18 years old. Also, this is the age at which a person is considered "an adult" and legally able to enter into contracts on their own. There are ways, however, for young traders to get started in the Forex market. The best time to start trading is never too early or too late, regardless of one's age or level of experience.
To start trading, they will need to meet the minimum age requirement and follow the following steps. Determine the type of trading strategy you want to use. Next, they need to determine which brokerage firm is best for them. A brokerage account, for new readers, is not the same as a typical bank account. A brokerage account provides traders with access to a diverse range of financial products. The most commonly traded assets include stocks, bonds, options, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and mutual funds.

Considering the amount of responsibility and commitment involved if you really want to do it the right way, I would say that even 18 years is too young as most 18 year olds are still quite immature. When trading you cannot be rash about your decisions, and at the end of the day it also depends on your personality. Some are intrinsically more mature than others, and let us not forget the importance of controlling your emotions. You need to be quite mature and self confident to manage to do that.
