Agreed. I think both are important. The more you read and reasearch the more you get to understand key aspects of the forex market, and you will gain more insight too. Using a demo account as a form of practise is also indispensable in my opinion, and yet many traders tend to avoid using it that much, and this results in their failures in my opinion. A demo account proved very helpful to me as it really helped me understand how to go about trading in forex and even though at first it was not real, I still tried to consider it was and that helped me as I moved along.
