What is eco-investing?
Green investment is a type of investment that is made by companies and enterprises that produce environmentally friendly products. These companies are rewarded for implementing new technologies and for using and producing environmentally friendly goods.

The impact of industrial production on the environment is quite large today and many investors are only investing in those projects and enterprises that are environmentally friendly. Although these investments are becoming more popular, there are still quite a few investors who avoid only the most massive and, one might say, catastrophic pollution.
Eco-investing, also known as green or sustainable investing, focuses on allocating capital to projects, companies, and funds that prioritize environmental sustainability and social responsibility. This approach supports initiatives like renewable energy, clean technology, waste reduction, and conservation efforts, aiming to generate positive environmental impacts alongside financial returns. Eco-investors often use Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria to evaluate potential investments, ensuring alignment with ethical and ecological values. The growing awareness of climate change and resource depletion has driven the popularity of eco-investing, as individuals and institutions seek to contribute to a greener future. By channelling funds into sustainable ventures, eco-investing promotes innovation, reduces carbon footprints, and encourages businesses to adopt environmentally friendly practices, fostering long-term planetary health and economic resilience.
