Frankfurt stock exchange
The Frankfurt Stock Exchange, known in Germany as the FWB Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse, is operated by the Deutsche Borse Group. It is Germany's most major stock exchange, with 90 percent of all deals conducted using its own trading system, Xetra. The prices published on this system are used to calculate the DAX, Germany's main stock index.

Frankfurt dates back to the eleventh century and was acknowledged as a major financial hub in the nineteenth century. The Frankfurt Stock Market grew to become Germany's largest and most prominent stock exchange in the mid-twentieth century. As a result, both local and international investment surged.
The Frankfurt Stock Exchange operates from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time and has a market capitalisation of around $1.90 trillion. The trading hours for trading German stocks on our online platform with spread betting and CFDs are listed on the individual instrument pages for your selected asset.
