Which trading platform, should I use first MT4 or cTrader?
Many differences between MetaTrader 4 and cTrader are due to personal choices, and both apps may be used for trading. However, a few major distinctions persist. For example, if you wish to trade symbols other than currency pairs, cTrader is typically a better choice than MT4 because MT4 only supports currency pairs and a few other securities, but cTrader has a far bigger symbol library. cTrader has a more modern appearance and allows traders to select between bright and dark themes, whereas MetaTrader 4 has a more traditional appearance with white and grey windows. Again, the choice of a specific design is entirely subjective. Because of its ease of use and lack of features, MT4 is an excellent choice for beginners, but cTrader includes more indicators, tools, and charting periods for more experienced traders.
Choosing between MT4 (MetaTrader 4) and cTrader depends on your trading style and needs.

MT4 is ideal for beginners and experienced traders alike due to its simplicity, widespread use, and extensive library of expert advisors (EAs) and indicators. It’s particularly favored by Forex traders who rely on automated trading systems and custom indicators.

cTrader, on the other hand, offers a more modern interface with advanced charting tools, a wider range of order types, and better transparency with Level II pricing. It’s well-suited for traders who prioritize detailed market analysis and prefer a more visually appealing platform.

For beginners, starting with MT4 might be easier due to its simplicity and vast educational resources. However, if you seek advanced features and a modern experience, cTrader could be more suitable.
