What is Financial Conduct Authority(FCA)?
A British independent regulatory body that oversees the UK forex market, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) operates under the Financial Services and Markets Act (2000). Unauthorized foreign exchange brokerage firms are being weeded out, and retail traders are being protected from online scams. The FCA maintains a list of all UK firms that are authorized to sell forex, contracts for difference (CFDs), binary options, and other commodities to retail traders.
