Huobi Token (HT) is the Huobi Global exchange's native cryptocurrency. It is part of a class of cryptocurrencies known as exchange tokens. Huobi Token was created and distributed to Huobi users in 2018 as part of a special giveaway plan in which platform users were rewarded with free tokens. A total of 500 million HT were distributed to Huobi users, 100 million for platform rewards and operations, and another 100 million reserved for team incentives. Following the giveaway, users were able to trade it and take advantage of the opportunities made available by the Huobi Token on the Huobi platform.
