Summer.fi has confirmed a $SUMR token airdrop for users who accumulated $RAYS points through active platform usage. A retroactive snapshot converted existing $RAYS into $SUMR at a rate of 2.26 $RAYS = 1 $SUMR for eligible users who engaged with borrowing, earning, or multiplying features since 2021. The $SUMR token officially launched on January 21, 2026.
A second snapshot is scheduled to take place in three months, allocating additional $SUMR tokens based on continued activity on the platform. Users can earn $SUMR in two ways: by depositing assets into vaults before the token generation event for pre-launch allocations, which has already occurred, or by staking $SUMR after launch to receive boosted rewards. Summer.fi will continue distributing $RAYS points for ongoing interactions, with future conversions into $SUMR.
New users who open a position of $500 or more and maintain it for at least 14 days are also eligible to claim retroactive $RAYS points. After the TGE, users who stake $SUMR receive dual rewards in both $SUMR and USDC, further incentivising long-term participation in the protocol.
