The public testnet for the Rome Protocol has been released, providing developers, searchers, and solvers with the chance to engage with the ecosystem. As with other L2 projects in the sector, users who participate in the testnet activities may be eligible for future token distributions, even though there isn't currently an officially confirmed airdrop. There are other ways to participate in the testnet launch, such as implementing EVM dApps, constructing L2s with the Rome Stack, and developing cross-chain apps with Rome Interop. Users who take advantage of these capabilities early on may be better positioned to benefit from any future ecosystem gains.
