Calamity has not confirmed a traditional blanket airdrop, but it operates a Play-to-Airdrop model in which WYRM tokens are distributed after the Token Generation Event (TGE) based on player performance. Rewards depend largely on how well participants perform during playtests and how they rank on the leaderboards. The current “Higher Stakes” playtest for March 2026 features a total prize pool of $50,000, including approximately $45,000 worth of WYRM tokens allocated across both PvE and PvP leaderboards, along with a $5,000 pool seeded in USD Coin through the Wyrm Tribute system. While the exact percentage of tokens reserved for airdrops has not been disclosed, the allocation is expected to depend primarily on performance metrics such as leaderboard rankings, participation in Wyrm Tribute pools, and ownership of in-game NFTs. The official TGE date has not yet been announced, but future token distributions are expected to follow a similar performance-based structure. Players can also earn rewards through the Wyrm Tribute pool, which is funded by both project contributions and player purchases. Payouts from this pool depend on how much each player contributes and their level of activity during each season, creating additional incentives for active participation.
